Named for the immortal icon of Dia de los Muertos, La Catrina, your charming suite is filled with themed folk art from our travels as well as from local artist, Anita Moore-Wells. Your private suite has its own entrance, with French doors opening onto a large Spanish-style guest courtyard - perfect for morning coffee, sunsets or stargazing. You'll find a comfy king bed with fresh quality linens, ensuite bathroom furnished with towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, mini-fridge, and beverage station stocked with delicious eco-friendly coffee, tea, and plenty of filtered drinking water. 

The Central Coast has very moderate weather year-round, with the exception of a few days per year, but just in case they occur during your visit you can enjoy a nice breeze from the ceiling fan. Your suite has a Smart TV and WiFi (but no cable) so you can access your own accounts for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. . (WiFi Password details are in your Welcome Book).

Feel free to grab our beach towels we've left for you to borrow, and head to the beach or some of our country road wineries for a day of leisurely exploration. When you’re ready to call it a day, wind down with one of the interesting books in your suite and learn about Mexican folk art, alebrije woodcarvings, Day of the Dead festival, or archaeological sites of Aztecs and Mayans. 

Guest Access

Located in the guest wing of the hacienda’s main house, your Catrina suite has its own private entrance and faces the lovely guest courtyard for your enjoyment*! This suite does not include access to the indoor facilities of the main house in which we reside. There is a designated parking place for your car, just look for the Catrina sign.

*Due to potential for fire hazard with surrounding dry brush, the wood burning fireplace in the guest courtyard is not available for use).
