    Favorite Experiences

    Wineries

  • 2 of our favorite tasting rooms are Verdad & Lindquist Family and Timbre, where you will find a Cheers-like vibe that draws in the locals. Make sure you tell them you are staying with Frank & Elise! Both are conveniently located in the quaint Village of Arroyo Grande, which means you can easily dine before or after, or even bring it with you to enjoy on their patios. Feel free to break up your wine tasting experience with some shopping in the cute boutiques and antique shops.

  • Our favorite spot for food and wine pairings is so special and so exquisite, we are trying to keep it a secret by only sharing it with guests - so get your stay booked so we can share it with you!

    Breweries

  • Plenty to choose from in the area, but again, for that Cheers-like vibe ,we go to ManRock, Humdinger (in The Village of Arroyo Grande) and Apogee.

    Dining

  • With recognition in the MIchelin Guide, be sure to dine right here in AG at our beloved Ember at least once during your stay.

  • For elevated comfort food made from ingredients locally sourced at Farmers Markets, we love Spoon Trade - make sure you let owners, Brooke & Jacob know you are staying with us.!

  • A favorite dinner stop when we are in The Village of AG is Mason Bar & Kitchen, where the short ribs, mushroom ravioli and lobster corn dogs are all pretty amazing.

  • If it’s an ocean view you are after, then Oyster Loft is a must.

  • FYI, there are 8 Michelin Starred restaurants in SLO County, and 32 on California’s Central Coast - make reservations at Ox and Anchor in downtown SLO and see why.

    Art

  • The Gallery AG Art & Wine, conveniently located in The Village of Arroyo Grande right behind Verdad & Lindquist Family Wines on the same property, so you can explore and enjoy art with glass in hand! The Gallery offers original paintings, collectable prints and limited editions from nationally acclaimed artists alongside exciting local and emerging talents.
